A bill that would assign a new, unique zip code to the hamlets of Flanders, Riverside and Northampton was re-introduced today in the House of Representatives by Rep. Lee Zeldin.

Developer Island Properties of Farmingville which plans to build a new 10,000-square-foot building to house a health club and a meditation/massage center, says it has all necessary approvals and is moving forward with the project.

A new separate zip code for Flanders, Riverside and Northampton is part of the 2017 version of the Postal Service Reform Act, which was introduced in the House by Utah Republican Jason Chaffetz, who visited Flanders with Rep. Zeldin in September.
