The FAA Reauthorization Act of 2018, which has been agreed to by both chambers of Congress and is expected to be passed by Sept. 30, included a section penned by Rep. Lee Zeldin requiring the FAA to get community input, assess noise impacts of helicopters and enforce a 2,500-foot minimum altitude rule.
