Lost dog

The Chihuahua-Jack Russell Terrier mix, missing since early Wednesday morning when he got out of his Aquebogue yard, was found by a 15-year-old girl in the woods more than two miles from his home.

Danny Kriedter, 47, a quadriplegic since a workplace accident in 1994, is heartbroken without his constant companion, an adopted rescue dog. He can't get around himself to search for his dog, and is asking the public's help.

Lost: Jada, a friendly miniature pinscher, female, wearing a pink collar. Lost since Monday, Jan. 25 at about 5 p.m. from her home in John Wesley Village on Middle Road in Riverhead.
