Time marches on, even in the wake of superstorm Sandy. As we slowly picked up the pieces, we found Halloween upon us. Though some were concerned that trick or treating would put kids in danger, others were excited to be out of the house, after many days behind closed doors.
My family has been lucky, we have had power, almost without interruption. Yet we were still anxious to get out there and see what Halloween, one of our favorite days of the year, would have in store. As we meandered through neighborhoods, we talked to other families who were also out and about, collecting candy and having a good time.
We hope you too, had a happy and safe Halloween!
