The U.S. Navy will host its 64th restoration advisory board meeting for the former Naval Weapons Industrial Reserve Plant Calverton site, the former Grumman facility on Wednesday, Sept. 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. 

The meeting will be held in a hybrid format, with an in-person meeting at Residence Inn Long Island East End, 2012 Old Country Rd., Riverhead and virtually through an online webinar.

The restoration advisory board provides a public forum for the Navy and regulatory agencies to share updates with community members about environmental restoration activities at the site, including progress updates on ongoing environmental efforts. Time for audience questions will be limited.
