St. Isidore’s School celebrated Thanksgiving a couple days early with a Thanksgiving feast prepared and served by parents of school children in the K-8 school in Polish Town.

They served about 165 meals, principal Helen Livingston said. Students, parents and teachers alike enjoyed a turkey dinner with all the trimmings. The Rev. Robert Kuznik, pastor of St. Isidore’s R.C. Church was on hand for prayers, food and fellowship.

Entertainment was provided by the kindergarteners, who sang a Thanksgiving version of the Christmas classic “Jingle Bells” to the delight of the crowd.
