The town’s bow hunting program is underway at EPCAL, where hunting will continue through Jan. 1, 2027.
Visitors to Veterans Memorial Park and other parts of the EPCAL site are advised to stay on the walking path and keep off the runways at all times. Those restrictions also apply to pets. Members of the public should not enter wooded areas where active deer hunting is taking place.
Bow hunting is also underway on town-owned properties on Sound Avenue and Middle Road. Hunting runs through Jan. 1, 2027, at the Sound Avenue property and through Jan. 31, 2027, at the Middle Road property.
The hunting period began Oct. 1 at all three locations.
