The Riverhead Middle School French Club has returned from a four-day cultural tour of Quebec City.
A total of 106 students, parents and teachers experienced French culture, language, and food from March 23 through March 26. Their activities included:
(1) Visiting Montmorency Falls
(2) Going to the Basilica of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré
(3) Tubing at a mountain north of Quebec City
(4) Eating at the French Culinary Institute
(5) Touring old Quebec
“It was one of our best trips. We had 80 students in all who were all so well-behaved,” said MS French teacher Betsy Ruotolo, who coordinates this annual trip. “The tour company took us to a tubing mountain north of Quebec City. It was by far our favorite activity,” she added.
