Riverhead Police detectives and Suffolk County Crime Stoppers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who stole items from a store in Riverhead Saturday morning.

Police said the man entered Platinum Prepaid Wireless, located at 121 Griffing Avenue, on August 6 at approximately 6 a.m. and stole numerous cellphones from the business area.

The man, pictured above in a surveillance camera image released by police is described as black, with an average build. He was wearing a True Religion T-Shirt and a Chicago Bulls hat, according to the report.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
