The Riverhead Chamber of Commerce has a slate of informational meetings coming up in the weeks ahead.

At the next meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 23 at the Hilton Garden Inn, 2038 Old Country Road, Gloria Glowacki, associate regional director of the Small Business Development Center, will share what the center  can do for you and your business,  at no cost to you. The SBDC offers help in financing, hiring, writing business plans and marketing strategies.

Registration takes place at 12:45 p.m. The workshop, lunch and networking begin at 1 p.m.

The cost is $20 for chamber members and their guests and $25 for non-chamber members in advance. Tickets are $30 at the door.

On Wednesday, Sept. 21 at 8 a.m. members and guests will have an opportunity to meet with Riverhead Town Supervisor Sean Walter for  “Coffee & Concerns: The State of the Town of Riverhead.” Location and details to be announced.

On Wednesday, Sept. 28 at noon there will be a “Lunch and Learn” meeting to hear Dr. Stanley Katz, senior vice president of Cardiovascular Services, talk titled Updates on Peconic Bay Medical Center’s Cardiac Care Center. Location and details to be announced.
