The Riverhead Country Fair is coming up this weekend and that means it’s time to show off your pumpkin-decorating and carving skills.
The popular annual contest is back with cash prizes — and lots of fun for the whole family. Decorate or carve a pumpkin or other vegetable and bring it to the grounds of East End Arts on Country Fair day, Sunday, Oct. 9, between the hours of 7 and 9 a.m. to enter the contest.
Only one entry per person, ages four to adult. Entries must be prepared by the entrant and must remain on display until 5 p.m., no exceptions.
1st, 2nd and 3rd place cash prizes will be awarded to each age group.
