Fresh air, fall foliage and 5K fun run fundraiser – all wrapped up in one fabulous morning.

The Riverhead Running Club is hosting its second annual Trick or Trot 5K fun run and race on Oct. 29. The event is open to all ages from under 8-years-old to more than 70-years-young. Prizes will be awarded to the first, second and third place winners of male and female winners of each age group. A prize will also be awarded to the runner who is wearing the best costume.

One hundred percent of the funds raised in the race will go toward scholarships and help offset the costs club members who travel off Long Island to participate in running events incur.

The race starts in front of Riverhead High School. The fun run begins at 8:30 a.m. The 5K run/walk begins at 9 a.m. The entry fee is $20 in advance or $25 the day of the race. The fun run is free.
