Flanders Northampton Volunteer Ambulance is teaming up with Island Harvest to collect donations for the victims of Hurricane Harvey.

Donations can be dropped off at FNVA headquarters at 641 Flanders Road, Flanders. FNVA volunteers will also pick up donations. Call Christine (631-764-2727) or Sandra (631-830-1480) to arrange a pickup. All donations must be dropped off or picked up by Thursday, Sept. 7. Tractor-trailers are leaving for Texas on Sept.8.

Items being accepted by FNVA:

  • diapers
  • baby wipes
  • shampoo
  • soap
  • razors
  • deodorant
  • sanitary napkins & tampons
  • Q-Tips
  • hair brushes
  • hair bands, clips
  • batteries
  • Zip-lock plastic bags
  • can openers
  • dog food
  • cat food

New items, children and adult, all sizes:
socks
underwear
undershirts
