On a perfect fall day, hundreds of people flocked to Hallockville Museum Farm in Riverhead yesterday for the 37th annual country fair.

It was a day for celebrating agricultural traditions and folk arts, offering visitors a look back at the farm’s long history. There were woodworking, basket weaving and rug hooking demonstrations, a 1930s quilt show and dozens of activities for the entire family.

The  fair continues Sunday, September 10 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Hallockville Museum Farm, 6038 Sound Avenue, Riverhead
