A Calverton woman was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle yesterday morning in Southold.
Southold Town Police said while investigating reports of a black PT Cruiser being operated erratically on Route 48, officers located Kimberly A. Fleischman, 38, operating the vehicle near the town beach at about 7:20 a.m. on May 26.
Fleischman was determined to be impaired by drugs, police said.
She was also found to be operating the vehicle without its owner’s authorization, according to a police press release.
Fleischman was arrested and transported to Southold Police headquarters to be processed and held for arraignment in Southold Town Justice Court.
