The Waves blanked the Lions 3-0 on goals by Angie Graziano, Katie Goodale and Kayla Kielbasa.
Goalie Victoria Stapon had three saves.
“I think we went in definitely confident and positive, knowing that if we played our game we could win,” Coach Cheryl Walsh Edwards said after the game.
“We have nine seniors who are not ready for their season to end,” the coach said.
No. 5 Riverhead (9-6) faces No. 4 Ward Melville (11-3) Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at Ward Melville.
