The Butterfly Effect Project (see prior stories here, here and here) is seeking donations to support its toy drive. They are hoping to collect enough toys to make Christmas a little happier for 350 children.

According to the organization’s press release, there are several ways in which donors can contribute. Monetary donations in the form of checks can be mailed to the group’s office at The Butterfly Effect Project, 1018 Northville Turnpike, Riverhead, NY 11901. (Please write “toy drive” on the memo line.) Donors can also shop from the BEP wish list on Amazon. Click here to see the list. Making an online monetary donation is quick and easy by clicking here.

If you would like to “adopt” one of the 437 girls currently involved in the program, a donation of $25 a month would help her attend and participate in all the events in which the BEP girls take part. The monthly stipend helps pay for back to school supplies, Christmas gifts, Thanksgiving baskets, snacks, hygiene products, activities, field trips, application fees for camp, and all other expenses that pop up throughout the year. Stop by the office to pick up an application to sponsor one of the girls.

Remember, all donations are 100-percent tax deductible and very much appreciated by the BEP girls and the sponsors of the organization.
