Hulse Landing Road between Rt. 25A and Sound Avenue will be closed to traffic today between 9 a.m. and about 3 p.m., Riverhead Highway Superintendent George Woodson said this morning.

Highway crews will be pumping out a sump off Hulse Landing Road and will be discharging water by hoses across the roadway, Woodson said.

The highway superintendent said he expects the job to be completed today but there is the work will continue tomorrow, requiring te road to be closed again for part of the day.
