Peconic Bay Power Squadron will offer “Marine Electrical Systems,” beginning Wednesday, Aug, 28, at 7 p.m. at the Southampton Community Center in Hampton Bays. The class will run for 11 additional sessions, taking place Sept. 11, 18, and 25, Oct. 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30 and Nov. 6, 13 and 20.
The class will cover the many systems found on modern boats, focusing on procedures and information on installing, monitoring, maintaining and making minor repairs to your vessel’s electrical system and components.
The course fee is $90 and includes course manuals and materials, and after passing an exam, a completion certificate.
