The principal of Pulaski Street Elementary School and a teacher there have been administratively reassigned pending personnel investigations, Superintendent Aurelia Henriquez confirmed this morning.

Principal Dave Densieski has been reassigned to the district office and orchestra teacher Christina Mercurio has been reassigned to pupil personnel services office, Henriquez said.

The superintendent said the district could not comment on the reassignments because “these are active personnel investigations.”

Last month, high school teacher and assistant football coach Edward Grassman was also administratively reassigned, Henrqiquez confirmed today. Grassman was reassigned to the pupil personnel services office Oct. 30, also pending a personnel investigation, she said. The News-Review reported Grassman’s reassignment yesterday.
