(Update 3:30 p.m.) Power has mostly been restored as of 3:30 p.m.
A power outage spanning from Shoreham to Aquebogue briefly left more than 2,000 customers without electricity this afternoon, according to PSEG Long Island’s outage map.
The outage affected 2,263 customers and lasted for about half an hour, according to PSEG’s outage map.
About 200 customers remain without power near Osborn and Sound Avenues. PSEG currently estimates restoration time for those customers around 6 p.m. tonight.
