Riverhead’s homecoming parade has been canceled due to the inclement weather forecast.
The homecoming game will go on as scheduled at McKillop Field, where the Blue Waves (1-2) take on Sachem East (1-2). Kickoff is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
Riverhead High School class floats will be on display at the football field for judging in the annual float contest, coordinator Debbie Nigrel said this morning.
