Steven C. Breest of Flanders died on July 14, 2024. He was 53 years old.
Born in Riverhead on Aug. 10, 1970, he was a 1988 graduate of Riverhead High School. He married his wife Ameneh, in Kansas in August 1988. He was an electrician with Eeco Electric.
He is survived by his wife of Flanders; his children Ashley Coiffard of Brooklyn, Alexis Breest of Aquebogue, and Ariana Breest of New York; and his brother, Robert Breest of North Carolina.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 19, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead.
The family suggests memorial donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
