Maryann Krupski of Mattituck died on Aug. 24, 2024. She was 65 years old.

She grew up in Farmingdale, and moved to Mattituck in 2008 with her husband Gene. Together they built a successful organic farming business, MarGene Farms.

She was an avid traveler, having visited six continents with her husband. She was also known for her love of flowers, swimming, and hosting gatherings at her home. She shared her love of reading and cooking through book club and cooking events.

Her family said she will be remembered for her ability to connect with others, whether it was keeping her family connected, staying connected with God, or staying close to her childhood friends or new friends. She was a faithful and active member of True Light Church, where she helped with kids, greeted and connected everyone who came into the church. She also hosted church family celebrations at her home.

“Maryann will live on in her organ donations and in those she loved.  She was a gift to others in life and will be a gift to others in her passing,” her family said.

Predeceased by her parents, Rosemary and John, she is survived by her husband of 34 years; her children, Nicole Ann and Drew; her twin sister JoAnne, and brother, Lawrence (Theresa).

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 28 at 11 a.m. at True Light Church. Memorial donations to the Brain Aneurysm Foundation and American Heart Association would be appreciated. The DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Mattituck is serving the family.
