James F. Giglio of Riverhead died on Dec. 30, 2024, at home. He was 71 years old.
He was born on March 9, 1953, in Copiaque, the son of Ignatius and Catherine (Tobin) Giglio.
He worked as a glass setter at Safelite Auto Glass in Riverhead. His family said he loved watching auto racing and his ’67 Camaro Rally Sport was his pride and joy.
He is survived by his daughter, Lisa, his son, Brian, his sister, Catherine Zeltmann and three grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home oon Friday, Jan. 3 at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home. A funeral service will take place Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
