Anthony P. Zaweski of Panama City Beach, Florida, died on Dec. 21, 2025, in Panama City Beach. He was 71 years old.

He was born in Riverhead on May 17, 1954, the son of Anthony V. Zaweski and Madelyn (Sendlewski) Zaweski. He graduated from Mercy High School in Riverhead in 1972 and from Fordham University in 1976 with a bachelor’s degree in international finance. He married Lenora Zaweski, and they shared 46 years together.
Mr. Zaweski had a 48-year career in the grain export business. He served on the board of directors of the Texas Grain and Feed Association, acting as chairman of the legislative committee from 2001 to 2004 and as chairman of the board from 2007 to 2008. He was awarded the Lone Star Award from the association in 2012 and also served on the board of directors for the Office of the State Chemist at Texas A&M University. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and enjoyed the company of family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Lenora, of Panama City Beach, Florida; his daughter, Renee Johnson (Brian), of Texas; his grandchildren, Luke and Caroline Johnson, of Texas; and his brothers, Robert (Pam), of Venice, Florida, and Thomas, of Riverhead.
A funeral service and mass were held at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Panama City, Florida, on Dec. 30, 2025, with interment following at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Panama City, Florida.
