Ann Fliss of Laurel died June 11, 2026, in Laurel. She was 103 years old.
Born Nov. 22, 1922 in Great Neck, she was the daughter of Frank and Gladys (Graboski) Slivonik. She worked as a housekeeper in the local area. A past member of the Rosary Society, she also enjoyed flower gardening and cooking.
She was predeceased by her husband Stanley, and her son, Stanley. She is survived by her children, Gran Deerdorff of Riverhead, Jean Vitale of FloridaI, Frank Fliss of Tennessee and Barbara Zimnoski of Laurel; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors Monday, June 15, from 11 a.m. to noon at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead. A funeral service will be held at noon at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
