Ralph S. Miller of Riverhead died July 14, 2026, at Peconic Bay Medical Center. He was 86 years old.
Born June 5, 1940, in Brooklyn, he was the son of Arnold and Mildred (Benson) Miller. He attended P.S. 89 and Erasmus Hall High School. He married Mary (Wysoczanski) July 18, 1964, in Riverhead. He worked as a laborer with the Town of Riverhead Highway Department and the water district. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking and metal detecting.
He was predeceased by his brother, Richard Miller. He is survived by his wife, Mary; his children, Steven (Noreen) of Massapequa and Cynthia Gallo (Michael) of Baiting Hollow; and seven grandchildren.
Memorial visitation will be held Friday, July 17, from 4 to 7 p.m. at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead.
