Diane P. Kwasneski of Cutchogue died July 17, 2026. She was 78 years old.
Born Oct. 7, 1947, in Greenport, she was the daughter of Ann (Slavonik) and Leo Kwasneski. She was raised in Southold and graduated from Southold High School. After high school, she attended SUNY Morrisville, where she earned an associate degree. In her professional career, she worked at Grumman in Calverton for 30 years and then at Goldsmith’s Boat Shop until retiring. She was also a member of St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church in Southold.
She is survived by her sister, Carolyn Schill (James) of Huddleston, Virginia.
The family has chosen to remember her life privately at this time. A memorial service will be planned for the fall. Arrangements were entrusted to DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Southold.
