Darlene Anne “Dubie” Zelinski of Cutchogue died Sept. 10, 2026, at the Kanas Center in Westhampton Beach. She was 72 years old.

Born July 6, 1954, she was the daughter of Alexander and Frances (Kaloski) Zelinski. A lifelong resident of Cutchogue, she grew up on her grandparents’ farm on Alvahs Lane, surrounded by many cousins and farm life. She owned “Visions,” where she created custom wreaths and gifts, and in later years she enjoyed quilting. She also enjoyed gardening and tending to the flowers and plants she loved.
She was predeceased by her parents, Alexander and Frances Zelinski. She is survived by her brother, Daniel Zelinski (Patricia); her niece, Elizabeth Alba (Paul); her nephew, David Zelinski (Danielle); and many friends and family members.
A funeral service will be held Friday, Sept. 18, at 10 a.m. at Mattituck Presbyterian Church in Mattituck. Memorial donations may be made to the North Fork Animal Welfare League or the Kanas Center for Hospice Care.
