A mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain this morning is creating hazardous travel conditions across Long Island.

A state appellate court has ruled the Suffolk County Sheriff’s practice of detaining people on ICE administrative warrants unlawful under New York State law.

A man was arrested on an ICE warrant early this morning after trying to flee on foot, Riverhead police said.
