Pulaski Street School students have raised more than $1,700 selling “gratitude rocks,” to help finance cleft repair surgeries for children around the world.

Arthur Lewis Jr., a point guard for the Wizards, paid a visit to Pulaski St. Elementary School Thursday morning and his message was loud and clear: "Dream big."

While his memory is kept alive in the hearts and minds of those who once served by his side, and by those who currently serve this nation in places near and far, the heroism of Congressional Medal of Honor recipient PFC Garfield M. Langhorn Jr. is also remembered right here in Riverhead.
