Townscape Summer Concert Series

he Jim Lull Memorial Concert Series, presented each summer by Townscape, may not have an entire lineup of concerts to offer this season — after being shut down altogether last year by the pandemic — but there will be at least one concert.

“I didn’t want to see us lose anything else in downtown,” Diane Tucci said. “I had to do something.” The former BID executive director raised money for three concerts and booked three bands.

Townscape’s Friday Night Concert Series, a summertime staple in downtown Riverhead for many years, is not taking place this year.

“There’s plenty of parking around Polonaise Park and with that beautiful pavilion, I’ll never have to worry about weather.” Summer concert series coordinator Councilman James Wooten is excited about the series' new venue.

This evening's Townscape concert by country band Southbound, has been moved to the Polish Town Civic Association pavilion and will go on rain or shine. Admission is free.
