Suffolk County’s vector control division will be applying pesticides today through Wednesday to control mosquito larvae in certain marshes across the county, including some in the Town of Riverhead, the Suffolk County Health Department announced in a press release issued this afternoon.

Suffolk Vector Control plans to treat several marshes in Riverhead and Southold to control mosquito larvae, June 11-13. The pesticides will be applied by helicopter, weather permitting, the health department said.
