The Riverhead Middle School held their spring concert Tuesday evening in the Charles Cardona Auditorium at Riverhead High School.

Among the performers were the chamber orchestra, wind ensemble, concert choir, eighth grade orchestra and eighth grade band. Each performing between three and four pieces.

The concert choir featured three soloists, Enaya Hopson, Alexa Wilson and Emily Nieves, in their performance of “The Greatest Love of All,” written by Linda Creed and Michael Masser and arranged by Jill Gallina. The concert choir is directed by Mrs. Nadine Greenberg and was accompanied by Mr. Daniel Grable.

The eighth grade band and wind ensemble, both under the direction of Mrs. Annette Brewer, concluded the concert with a joint performance of “West Side Story,” arranged by Michael Sweeney.

There will be a second spring concert tonight by Riverhead Middle School musicians, when the seventh grade orchestra, chorus and band perform at 7 p.m. at the high school.
