A Flanders man is facing two felony charges after he attempted to use a forged document and signed documents using a false name at the Department of Motor Vehicles in Riverhead, according to Riverhead Police.
Riverhead Police detectives arrested Salvatore R. Centore, 43, yesterday morning at police headquarters after an investigation conducted in cooperation with iDMV investigators, according to a press release issued by police yesterday.
Centore was charged with one count of offering a false Instrument for filing in the first degree and one count of criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second degree, both Felonies, police said. Centore was arraigned in Riverhead Justice Court and remanded to the Suffolk County Correctional Facility until a later date, according to police.
