The Rotary Club of Riverhead is seeking sponsors for Rotary Uncorked, one of its biggest benefit events of the year. This year’s gala is set for May 25 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Martha Clara Vineyards. Proceeds from the evening will benefit local charities, scholarship funds, food pantries and disadvantaged families during the holidays.
The chief beneficiary of this year’s gala will be General Needs Ltd., an organization that helps support homeless East End veterans. Long Island is home to the second-largest population of homeless veterans in the United States.
Last year’s event raised $30,000 with the help of generous local wineries and restaurants which donated products for a local smorgasbord showcasing their goods to more than 350 guests. Once again, Martha Clara Vineyards has donated the use of their winery for this event.
Event sponsors will be publicly acknowledged in promotional materials, on social media and in the local press.
Event sponsorships are available at the following levels:
$2500 Premiere Sponsorship which includes 10 event tickets with a reserved table; recognition in local media outlets and on Facebook Page; recognition on event ticket and signage at participating restaurants (if received by April 1st) and logo sponsor recognition at the event.
$1500 Merlot Sponsorship which includes 6 event tickets; recognition in local media outlets and on Facebook Page; signage at participating restaurants (if received by April 1st ) and logo sponsor recognition at the event.

$1000 Cabernet Sponsorship which includes 4 event tickets; recognition in local media outlets and on Facebook Page; and logo sponsor recognition at the event.
$500 Chardonnay Sponsorship which includes 2 event tickets; recognition in local media outlets and on Facebook Page; and logo sponsor recognition at the event.
$250 Business Sponsorship which includes recognition as a business sponsor at the event and a Facebook post acknowledgement.
$100+ Auction Basket Sponsorship is geared for businesses that do not have items or services to donate; those firms can contribute funds to be used toward a gift basket. Baskets will be exclusively sponsored by the donor and will be labeled as such. Basket Sponsorship contributions will be listed at the event and in a Facebook post acknowledgement.
Tickets are $75 each.
