What are you doing Saturday morning? Riverhead Town wants you.

Riverhead will hold its annual Litter Awareness and Spring Cleanup Day on Saturday, May 7.

Volunteers are asked to meet at Riverhead Town Hall at 9 a.m.  All residents are urged to participate.

The town will distribute trash bags, safety vests, gloves, and “litter-grabbers” to all volunteers and assign litter patrol areas. Volunteers may choose areas they know need particular attention.

For more information contact spring clean-up day coordinator Councilman James Wooten at (631) 727-3200 ext. 226.
