What’s happening with PBMC’s new cardiac care center?

Find out the latest on Peconic Bay Medical Center’s planned addition of a critical care tower at the hospital (see prior story here) which will include cardiac care facilities — two state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization labs, an electrophysiology suite, recovery rooms and an18-bed intensive care unit/cardiac care unit.

Cardiologist Dr. Stanley Katz, senior vice president for cardiovascular services at Northwell Health, who is heading up PBMC’s cardiology care program, will speak at the Riverhead Free Library on April 26 from 6 to 7 p.m. about current updates at PBMC’s new comprehensive heart center.
