Riverhead Town Police detectives and the Suffolk County arson squad are investigating a fire at a Wading River home late last night.
A structure fire at 187 Overlook Drive in Wading River was reported to police at 10:58 p.m., according to a press release.
The Wading River Fire Department responded to the scene and extinguished the fire. No injuries were reported. Two dogs located within the residence, were safely removed and turned over to the town animal control division.
Riverhead Police detectives responded and after an initial investigation requested the assistance of the Suffolk County Police arson squad.
