Help the Kent Animal Shelter celebrate its 50th anniversary with some hilarity on Friday, May 4, from 7 to 10 p.m. at Hotel Indigo in Riverhead.
Helping homeless animals is no laughing matter but laughter does save lives. All are invited to an evening of comedy featuring first responder comedians from Laughter Saves Lives.
Proceeds from the event will benefit homeless pets at the Kent Animal Shelter.
Tickets are $30 in advance or $35 at the door and include snacks, a cash bar, a Chinese auction, and 50/50 raffle. Tickets and info are available online.
