A crash on Route 58 at the entrance to Tanger Outlets sent two people to the hospital this morning.
An eastbound Chevy Equinox collided with a Ford Explorer turning left into the outlet center, injuring both drivers, police said. A Dodge Ram pickup truck waiting at the light to exit the center was impacted by the crash, which happened at about 11:15 a.m. The driver of the pickup was uninjured.
Riverhead Volunteer Ambulance Corps transported both patients to Peconic Bay Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
