The Shoppes at East Wind have a series of bi-weekly free family-friendly events scheduled beginning July 11 and running through August 15.
Bring your own chairs or blankets and relax on the lawn. No pets, outside food, drink or alcoholic beverages allowed at any of the events.
The first event scheduled will be held on July 11 from 6 to 8 p.m. Parent’s Choice Award Winner, Lena and The Happy Clam Band kick off the season. They will be performing original children’s songs from Lena’s CD, “Happy as Clams” in an interactive concert that gets kids and their families singing, dancing, and laughing
The next evening event is the Ronjo Magic Show scheduled for July 25 from 6 to 8 p.m. Ronjo Entertainment, includes a group of talented, dedicated and fun performers of magic entertainment for all ages. Each magician’s passion for entertainment ensures a unique and satisfying experience for all guests.
On Wednesday, July 18, Chain Reaction, a band that has performed from Long Island and New York area joins us at the Shoppes on Wednesday, July 18. The group specializes in a variety of music from the 1940s, 70s, 80s, 90s, classic rock, disco and contemporary music.
August 1, from 6 to 8 p.m. brings The Como Brothers, Long Island singer/songwriters whom have gained notoriety for their heartfelt lyrics, energetic performances, and fun personalities. The pop-rock duo has written, recorded, and released 2 albums, 5 EP’s, and 2 singles that will keep the audience engaged.
A performance by Craig Rose. Rose will provide entertainment for the whole family on Wednesday, August 8 from 6 to 8 pm. Rose brings his brand of everyone’s favorite hits for sing-alongs and dance music from the 60’s to today. He has previously entertained at weddings, corporate events and private parties with other successful performers from the tri-state area.
On August 15, triple Grammy Award nominee Brady Rymer will wind up the free season of family-friendly performances. Rymer, along with Claudia Mussen on accordion and vocals, will be at the Shoppes on Wednesday July 15 from 6 to 8 p.m performing some of their most popular children’s songs.
There will also be classic car shows on Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m. from July 10 to August 21 and on Wednesdays from August 25 to September 5.
