Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and the Riverhead Town Police Department are asking for the public’s help to identify and locate a man they say stole merchandise from a Riverhead store in May.
A man allegedly stole a crossbow valued at $298 from Walmart, located at 1890 Old Country Road, on May 20 at approximately 8:20 p.m., according to police.
Police released the above surveillance camera image of the suspect.
Anyone with information is asked to submit an anonymous tip to Suffolk County Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, using the P3 Tips mobile app (available in the App Store and Google Play), or online at www.P3Tips.com. All calls, text messages and emails will be kept confidential, police said.
Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest.
