Riverhead Police are investigating two burglaries at adjacent homes on East Avenue reported last night at about 8 p.m.
The burglar removed an undetermined amount of cash from both homes, located at 215 and 223 East Avenue, residents reported to police.
The detective division was notified and responded to assist in the investigation. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Riverhead Town Police Detective Division at 631-727-4500. All calls will be kept confidential, police said.
