Cadets from the Riverhead High School NJROTC visited the U.S. Coast Guard Station Shinnecock on Sept. 26. They took part in an embarkation that was underway on a Coast Guard 47-foot cutter and toured the Coast Guard station, where they learned about command and control, search and rescue operations, and navigation support systems.
