Riverhead Highway Department crews will be paving Ostrander Avenue between Second and Corwin streets and the traffic circle on Osborn Avenue and Middle Road.
“We’ll get started in the morning and it should only take a few hours total,” Riverhead Highway Superintendent Gio Woodson said today. “But I’ll need to keep traffic off the new pavement at the circle for a couple hours so it can set up properly, because of a lot of heavy truck traffic on that road,” he said.
“I hope to have it all done and reopened by 2 o’clock,” Woodson said.
