Families flocked to the the lawn outside the George Young Community Center in Jamesport Thursday evening for the annual Christmas tree lighting and the arrival of Santa Claus.
Once the colorful lights on the four Norway spruce trees were lit, Santa and Mrs. Claus came to town aboard a Jamesport Fire Department engine.
Kids had a chance to visit with Santa inside the community center after the tree-lighting ceremony concluded.
