The Shoppes at East Wind hosted their third annual tree-lighting event Saturday evening in Wading River.
The community turned out to ring in the holiday season with music and dance and to greet Santa Claus, who arrived on a Wading River Fire Department truck, sirens blaring.
Shoreham-Wading River High School Concert Choir and All Star Dance Academy performed holiday favorites. Music in the courtyard was also provided by Long Island Sound Entertainment DJ.
