(Updated: 11:42 a.m.) Closings and cancellations due to weather and road conditions Feb. 12, 2019:
Riverhead Free Library will close at 4 p.m.
Riverhead Central School District: All after-school activities today due the weather forecast. Rascals after-school program is also canceled. Riverhead High School will be dismissed 15 minutes early. Tonight’s Board of Education meeting has been postponed to Friday at 11 a.m. at the district office.
Shoreham-Wading River School District: SWR High School and Albert G. Prodell Middle School are dismissing at 11 a.m. Miller Avenue and Wading River elementary schools will begin dismissing at 12:30 p.m. All after school and evening activities are canceled including community program events and tonight’s Board of Education meeting.
Eastport-South Manor School District: Afternoon and evening activities are canceled.
Mattituck-Cutchogue School District has canceled all after-school activities and clubs at the high school except boys varsity basketball practice, which will take place at the high school beginning at 2:15 p.m. Pickup is at 3:30 p.m. all after-school activities and clubs at Cutchogue East are canceled this afternoon.
Greenport Union Free School District has canceled all after-school activities today, including all sports practices/games, drama practice and clubs.
Supervisor Laura Jens-Smith’s “listening tour” event in Wading River has been postponed to a later date (to be announced).
